Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place at Weingut Feuerwehr Wagner (Grinzinger Str. 53, 1190 Vienna).

Starting from ESI, take tram 38 in direction Grinzing until the last stop and follow Sandgasse for 10 minutes to reach the restaurant. This takes roughly half an hour.

We will meet there on Wednesday at 7 pm.

Excursion

On Wednesday there will only be talks in the morning. After lunch there will be a hike through Vienna’s vineyards including a stop up the hill, where you can get drinks, snacks and a nice view over Vienna. We booked a table at Heuriger Sirbu for 4:30 pm.
The hike ends at the restaurant where we will have the conference dinner.
If you want to join the excursion, meet us in front of the ESI at 2:20 pm and make sure that you have a ticket for public transport (they will be handed out before).

There is also a bus driving up the hill and you can join us at the break. To get there you also take the tram 38 in direction Grinzing until the last stop and change to bus 38A in direction Kahlenberg until last stop. This takes roughly 45 minutes.

If you want to do a sportier hike, then we recommend “Stadtwanderweg 1“. The organized hike will be a part of that.

Another option for Wednesday afternoon would be to go looking for Vienna’s “Wilde Maus“.
